Our Summer Fair at Newton Solney Village Hall was one of those wonderful days where the whole community seemed to come alive. The hall and grounds were filled with colour, laughter, and the cheerful bustle of families, neighbours, and friends enjoying the sunshine together. From the craft stalls to the games, from the homemade treats to the children racing around with painted faces, every corner had its own little moment of joy. It felt like the village gathered not just for an event, but for a shared celebration of everything that makes Newton Solney such a warm and welcoming place.

What made the day truly memorable was the spirit behind it — people pitching in, helping out, cheering each other on, and taking genuine pleasure in being part of something together. Conversations flowed easily, new connections were made, and familiar faces lit up as they stopped to chat. By the end of the fair, there was that lovely sense of having created something special as a community. Hosting it wasn’t just fun; it was a reminder of how vibrant and connected village life can be when everyone comes together.
