Newton solney village hall is circa 100 years old and was built as a community hall by the ratcliff family – originally big land owners of the village. In 1970’s it was purchased by the village and is now held in trust.
The Village hall hosts 3 community events (Plant sale, Village show and December Shoot), keep fit classes, art classes, social events (Tuesday club, coffee club and St Mary’s lunches, WI), rifle clubs, snooker and available for private hire for parties and other events. See events page for details.
This community asset is looked after by trustee volunteers, elected on an annual basis at the April AGM. Directions to the hall can be found here. Directions to the hall can be found here.
